Recruitment Poster Contest

Are you good with graphic design? Could you use 150 million more isk? Then you need to enter the recruitment poster contest! The rules asre simple: make kickass posters for the Recon division, Logistics division, and the Gamma FC Program. You must make one for each section in order for your submission to count! Bombing /r/gaming with Awesome

Our wonder Tez has 6, that’s right s-i-x videos to post to /r/gaming for your viewing and upvoteing pleasure. Here’s the catch: the videos will only be posted once a week….UNLESS you guys donate isk to the propaganda department. Each time 500 mill has been donated, a video will be released earlier than expected. So head on over to this thread to keep track of the new videos and amount of isk donated. Perhaps even donate some yourself? You totally should. Just saying.

Atlas Surrenders

Big news in the war zone! Atlas surrenders! You guys have done a wonderful job fighting off reds. If you weren’t part of the war zone, then you better start training up your spaceships and get out there! Our blue boys have fought hard and had great success this week! New Neighbors

This week we have new neighbors, but don’t give them a welcome fruit basket just yet.  Pandemic Legion moved in late this week and have been spending most of their time killing people in bombers. Be wary of neutrals flying in space until it has been confirmed that PL is no longer around.

Dreddit Says No to Recruitment Scamming

As I’m sure many of you have noticed on the forums or in a previous Word of Bort, there was a debate about whether or not to allow recruitment scamming. After some polling and some intellectual discussion on the matter Dreddit has decided that recruitment scamming will not be allowed. Dreddit uses recruitment as a major resource, and therefore has decided that it would not be in Dreddit’s best interest to allow the scams. However, Dreddit respects the wishes of the other corporations in the alliance. Each individual corporation will be able to determine for themselves whether or not to allow recruitment scamming. If you are a member of one of these other corporations, it would be wise of you to check with your directors before doing anything stupid.

As I’m sure many of you have noticed, the forums were down this past week. During that time however, Avalont managed to create a series of interesting and funny photos nicknamed “FC Eagles”. You can visit this thread to see more of them. There’s even templates there for you to make your own!

There’s been a big hype lately all across the space interwebs about a man who lost 74 plexes. The guy was apparently flying with them in a Kestrel in Jita 4-4. For those of you who do not know the real money value of items in Eve, that’s about $1,107 (American). Now, this guy isn’t in our corporation, but the story is worth the lol for telling.
